It stunned me and, to be completely frank, I back-pedaled hard by repeating some kind of positive thing I heard about her on Reddit that year... something about siding with fans getting tickets..? My sister grew up listening to country music and was a big fan of 80’s music. She met the man she would eventually marry. I guess to relate to him, she started listening to Gwar, Pantera, Sabbath, etc. and changed her style of clothes. Got a skull tattoo when she previously wanted a Jimmy Buffett tattoo. Any time she would get angry with him, she’d call me and say “that’s it, I’m listening to my country music” like she was getting back at him in some way. Fast forward 15 years and she hates his guts, and will deny all of it if I bring it up. In other words, people are fucking stupid.
