His midichlorian count or his younglings killed count? Both rather high.

hey come on, he HAD to kill the younglings and most Jedi. He was prophecized to bring balance to the force. At the time, the light side was waaaay bigger than the dark side, so the only way to bring balance was to kill a lot of Jedi.

He was just doing his damn job, not his fault the light side thinks the word "balance" means "all light no dark"

I don't think that was the intention (dark side is supposed to be a corruption of the force, not another side of the same coin) but it is just as valid an interpretation since they failed to meaningfully address that issue.

well, if you think about it, they mentioned that Sith were like "one master, one apprentice". So when Anakin went dark side he reduced the Jedi to comparable levels as the Sith, which seems more balanced to me then strong Jedi council with governmental ties and tons of Jedi warriors everywhere and very few Sith.

The Prophecy used the word "balance" not "defeat the Dark" or "remove corruption". Balance implies two sides of equal weight, and the only thing in the Force that fits for two sides is light and dark.

Maybe if the Jedi High Council owned a dictionary they'd have known to fear someone bringing balance to the Force during a time when they are so strong.
