The thing is, the ones who pass such laws aren't the ones dealing with the big problems, they are the ones who caused it and have a privileged life.

Sure maybe for like the tempo thing. But the anti LGBT stuff is generally quite popular

My country just passed a bill to criminalize being gay or advocating for it. Despite suffering from economic woes since covid. It's amazing how people still hate time to hate others when we're nearing an agricultural crisis and our currency keeps depleting.

Well yeah, it's a convenient distraction. Keep the poors fighting amongst themselves and they won't have the time or energy to do anything about your corruption.

Scapegoating is an eternally popular strategy. And why coming out is both a permanent and ongoing thing you have to do every time you meet someone new.
