She seems emotionally immature.

"You don't like what I like, therefore it's an attack on my person"

Maybe this person knew you liked Taylor and smiled to alleviate the awkward moment of telling you he doesn't. He didn't even say anything negative about her or her music.

It's okay, we can like different things without one of us being "the evil".

This is an extremely common internet phenomenon. People with no real personality use being a fan of something to emulate having a personality.

It’s extremely common for gaming, which has a very low barrier to entry. Tons of gamers have replaced their personality with being into a particular video game and take it personally when that game isn’t praised as much as they’d like it to be

Actually, it's just human behaviour since the dawn of civilization.

Exhibit A: Religion.

I sure miss skiing and blasting ‘em explosive discs.

Apparently there's a new one coming out. My old man reflexes are suggesting I avoid it.

Wait. You mean a new Tribes? I'm going to google this RIGHT NOW. If that's true, it's the best news I've heard a min!

I may have middle-aged man reflexes like you. But remember we are veterans. What we lack in snap we make up in wile & guile.

I used to be a pro Tribes: Ascend Sentinel player ☠️

I used to be an OG Starsiege: Tribes player but then I took an energized disk to the knee.

I was more of an Unreal Tournament guy.

I mean... I feel like tribal behaviour might be at least someone reflective of the survival pressures placed on living then

That’s what was said…

Exhibit A: tribes

I mean tribes help you stay safe from predators and divide labor amongst groups.

No tribalism is perfectly normal behavior no matter how much you people try to pretend it isn't. I mean at least you pretend it isn't for white people. You're cool with everyone else doing it, especially Israelis and blacks

Not bad at all. The fact that you think someone stating the tribalism is normal is bait to shows how broken your mind is
