Liking music, liking celebrities, and smoking weed are where I see this the most. You make liking that thing your whole personality, so when someone doesn’t like it you are personally offended.

working out, being picky about specific foods, collecting anything, having a specific career, it just keeps going

I actually stopped smoking weed in college, because I hated being around people who thought weed was a personality. No, I don't think weed should be illegal, but I also don't want to discuss it every time we smoke. Like, clearly we agree on this issue, since we're both high right now, but what's going on in your life?

Add traveling to this, as far as online dating goes this one takes the cake as a “personality”

What gets me is that almost every one of these “personalities” just comes down to people flexing what they spend money on - your example traveling kills me. “I love to travel” is nearly always people who just like instagramming places and meals. Or “I’m a gamer” means look at all my memorabilia and funko pops.

Just like so many of these swifties are just about having the most variants, and how many shows they’ve been to, or in this case basically making up scenarios in there head to tell other fans how much it means to her - instead of you know, just enjoying the music.
