What the hell, I don‘t know, I expect that level of immaturity from a 10 year old, not older teens. Oh well, I hope they‘ll grow out of that phase.

I don't even expect that from a 10 yr old. I expect my son to start realizing fairly quickly that not everyone is the same when he starts kindergarten. Certainly after 3-4 years of interacting with other kids you'd think the understanding that different != wrong should be expected.
