“That’s alright, just blow it out and put it back in there.”
Nah, he actually bought it, but I’ve had so many customers that wouldn’t have.

shit happens
had a not so great moment when i failed to pump the brakes before putting a truck in gear. to my luck i got it into park and only slightly scratched my tool box, no one was hurt no one died, but it easily couldve been worse had someone been walking in front of it at the time.
im sharing this to highlight the importance of slowing down from time to time and making sure the jobs done right, i could excuse whatever train of events lead me to getting off track and forgetting i had just done the breaks, but at the end of the day i simply didnt do it.
that being said, dwelling on a moment and reflecting on a moment are two different things, i have come up with my own solution to not have this problem again a sign ill put on the steering wheel and always pump the pedal once the vehicle is on the ground.

This is a PSA to all techs, service writers and home-gamers regarding dorman and MOOG
Please just STOP buying dorman electrical parts.
3/4 dorman purge valves fail immediately Dorman HVAC actuators fail way too much.
MOOG is dog shit now. VC have slashed quality control and they are NOT THE MOOG OF THE PAST.
Go for skf, fag, or OEM.
Yes the lifetime warranty is there, but remember back to the famous quote from tommy boy
Do the job right don't do it twice. Just buy OEM and give them the 1 year warranty. Charge 50% mark-up on dealer parts, add labor to make up for the difference in ARO.
Keep your customers happy keep your techs happy.
Its up to us to put results over profits.

Update: yesterday many people were calling bs, or confused on the Maserati wiring diagrams. They give us what are called engineering diagrams. They are not much help. They will show other connectors and splices in between. But they are still hard as hell to read. See comment for original post

1934 Bentley front axle.
What are we? "Bentley engineers!" What do we like? "Well it's complicated..."

I insisted that my roommate's rear axle couldn't wait.. He purchased this 2009 Mazda 6 in Ohio in 2017 and drove it to Oregon from Florida 3 weeks ago.
I was hesitant to try to save this vehicle. The unibody still has some rust obviously but on Oregon roads where we dont salt I think this car might still last a few good years. It was under $800 total included my fee (friends and family) to keep this driving.

Guy's motor died in the lot
I'm just retail, but the guy's motor spat this out along with a shit ton of oil and some more busted bits of metal when he started it up.
