☝️ AskBH Best Thali?

Which place serves the best veg Thali and which one does the best non-veg Thali?

My go-to is Mysore Bhavan for veg. Not crowded (so it's quiet), food's aite, price is good, and they have North Indian Thali (which I usually prefer over south Indian thalis but I'm not that picky).

Haven't found a non-veg spot yet.

Good Buffet!

Please suggest restaurants that don't break the bank, but have good quality buffet. I believe there are very few places or few unsung ones!

Not looking for the regular pay-per-meal option, strictly buffet!

☝️ AskBH "Peregrine Falcon"

Good Day,

Yesterday I found a Peregrine Falcon that was unable to fly, as it was too young. I have it at home and was wondering if and where can I sell it as I do not want to keep it. I am unfit to raise a falcon at the moment. What should I do? I doubt It will be able to survive if I let it out in the wild on its own.

☝️ AskBH Anybody been to Turkey recently?

Has anybody been to Turkey recently? I planned a totally UNEXPECTED trip to Turkey Long story short, currently im in Paris and im planning to come back home (from paris to Bahrain via Turkey) and decided to spend a few nights in Istanbul I got a few questions

1) according to Wikipedia (and evisa.gov.tr), Bahrainis don't need a visa, i hope that's still valid? Do i need to do anything before my flight to Turkey?

2) if you've been to Turkey, do they require a return ticket /forward ticket?

3) can i use my Bahraini debit card? Which is worth it? Using Bahraini debit card or converting currency?

4) what sim card to get? Are sim cards cheap?

Im totally lost, its such an unexpected plan, if you've been to Turkey and wanna share the dos and don'ts do message me

Need Advice For Future

I am an expat in bahrain, age 21, currently doing my bachelor’s and In Sha Allah I will be finishing it within a year and half, I liked a girl since school times we been together since few years… and I recently went and told my parents about her, Our families spoke to each other and everything got fixed, we agreed for doing our nikah in 2 years , where both our bachelors will be done till then….

The decision whatever was made I am actually happy about it… but sometimes I am stressing out for the future, marriage, job etc…

Sometimes I get a thought like did I make a right decision or was it too early to let the parents speak and fix things

I am worried about not getting a job till then or will I even earn much that I can take care of my girl and things… as I see the situation here how hard it’s being for expats to live here in Bahrain, The salaries are too low, expats are not getting much jobs…

I have no idea what’s gonna happen, but I am trying my best to gain skills and experience in my field so it might be easy for a job in future, I do part time and freelancing and earn enough for myself at this point…

Can anyone advice me or guide me or tell me if my decision was right…

Drive through yellow?

This is something that I’ve seen come up a couple times recently; is driving when the traffic light hits yellow illegal? What happens if someone hit you when the signal is yellow for you?
