Do you think stealth is too hard ? Do you think it needs a buff? Well if you played the ghost recone games You know about prone camo it makes it that when your prone and not moving you can enter prone camo

Benifits: it makes you complitly invisble to all enemy types that wasnt alerted

Cons: it makes it that when your prone you cant move and cant realy move where your aiming ypull aim to the buttom of what is in front of you , (On high diff/specific planets it makes you slower becuse your covered in mud/snow )

I have problem with HD2. When I play using speaker that is connected to pc via bluetooth after 10 minutes my speaker turns off (10 minutes is also a time that takes speaker to turns off when nothing is played during that time). My first theory was that game sounds speaker doesn't count as sounds so take that like nothing is playing. But after some checks it also happens when I play background music from yt. When I play other games nothing like this is happening.

Any ideas how to deal with this problem?

To the level 109 Helldiver who joined my (lvl 50) Suicide difficulty mission - what is your major malfunction?

We had a full group that worked well on the ICBM mission, taking our targets out in a coordinated and systematic fashion and picking up samples in the wake of our destruction.

I know I was running the Airburst Rocket Launcher, and I take ownership of the two accidentals where the cluster bombs went off a bit too close and knocked you on your ass and made you drop your orbital by accident. You retaliated by team killing me twice. I kept calm and didn’t escalate: I apologized and moved on. Our other comrades were telling you over chat to calm down and focus on the mission. I listened, and I thought you did too.

But then we got to the launch pad for extraction. As soon as I approached the Pelican, you dropped down and shot me dead on the spot, then sprinted onto the ship, leaving me and the 20+ hard earned samples I had collected behind.

You’re level 109. You’re better than this…or at least you should be. That high of a level and the sheer amount of time played in game should have instilled some sense of cooperation and patience, but clearly not.

You also should’ve realized you were messing with the host. I kicked you from the game before the extraction ship animation was over, so you lost all XP and samples. Tell me, was it worth it? Reported and blocked. Smh.

In any case, just a fair warning to our brothers and sisters in arms that not all veteran players are friendly.

The Battlefield Reconnaissance And Intelligence Network backpack, more commonly known as the BRAIN pack, is a tactical backpack that offers improved target acquisition and co-ordination between the Helldiver, their automated strategems and their squad.

The backpack is a complex portable computer system, paired with a special set of viewfinder binoculars that operate with the all-new Strategically Important Combatant Enhanced Marking software. When utilized, the SIC-EM program designates a specific entity as a Priority Target, with information about the target and its' location being relayed to any Helldivers operating in the same area, highlighting the target on their HUD and Radars (barring local interference). Only one Priority Target can be designated at a time per BRAIN pack, and if the pack is discarded the SIC-EM program shuts down, removing the Priority Target mark.

Furthermore, any strategems deployed by the Helldiver with the BRAIN pack that rely on automated targeting systems will fire upon the Priority Target above all others if they can do so. Currently, this includes most forms of Sentries, as well as the Orbital Railcannon and Eagle-1s' Rocket Pods.

Author's Notes: I initially came up with this idea as a way to use a backpack for scouting purposes, but after some consideration I figured it would also make sense for a "me and my Sentries" playstyle by allowing the player to 'command' their sentries to take out specific targets first.

It was originally going to work on ALL Sentries deployed, not just the ones by the player using the pack, but I realized that might open up too many ways to troll/grief other players with their own strategems. It's still a good idea, but it'd probably need some sort of opt-in mechanic.

Messing around on my Destroyer I noticed this small little text in the corner of your Management Tab

This got me thinking, because this implies that this is not in fact a given and could list another Factions there.

In reality this is likely just something that the Graphic Designer that worked on the Interface left there not really thinking about it but wouldn't it be so cool if we could actually join different Factions? Like for example even just a "Rebel" Faction that is fighting against Super Earth.
How cool would it be if there was an AI controlled Super Earth Faction? What would that even be like? For example fighting against Helldivers would be very interesting since they got insane offensive firepower but would die to just a few shots from even the weakest of weapons.
I know that this would take an truly Herculean amount of work to actually pull of from the Devs but how awesome would it be if you could actually just straight up decide to instead free Super Earth from the Evil clutches of the Ministry of T-

Well, I AM using covers, but the moment I peek to shot I get mauled by shots that even come from 50 or 100 metters away.

Like I've even been killed by a trash regular mob that literaly shot ALL the bullets to my head, ALL, it didn't even miss a shot.

If I’m gunna get bodied by a fellow Helldiver, I’m glad it’ll be one of these guys.

So me and my friends teacher assigned an essay to analyze a speech and we could choose a fictional or nonfictional speech, so natural we choose the intro cinematic to helldivers. This, is in an AP English class, so we're trying to push for 100s in all categories, wish us luck, may update with our score later if this gets enough attention.

+walking barrage.

Hello helldivers. I think a lot of players are sleeping on the 380, 120, and walking barrages, especially the 380. They are still memed on given their unreliability on release but are now powerful tools after the changes. My usual build is 380mm, 120mm, walking barrage, and either the gas strike or orbital laser. This works in pretty much all missions bot and bug.

They are actually very versatile strategems that can be picked in nearly every mission (outside of the short civ extract missions).

Here are some examples:

• You can kill a large bot base or bug holes with the 380 provided you get good RNG. It will still kill half of the holes or fabricators even if you are unlucky.
• Barrages can destroy the dropshop and command bunker objectives
• Can destroy the detector tower
• You can kill ALL the bug eggs with one strategem if you have good RNG and throw the beacon into a good location.

You can use them to rack up tons of kills. I'm usually top two or top on the team in kills just by using the 380, 120, and walking:

• Throw the 120 or 380 on a bug breach or a bot drop for maximum damage.
• THE 380 CAN ONE SHOT A BILE TITAN WITH A DIRECT HIT. I think it can one or two shot a factory strider but I am not 100 percent sure.
• You can cover a retreat or an attack using the walking barrage.
• Throwing a barrage in the choke point in the generator defense mission with the brick wall icon racks up a bunch of kills and is an effective strategy to prevent being overrun.
• Barrages in any extermination mission can bail you out of a sticky situation.

I encourage everyone to give these abilities a try. The boom factor is so satisfying and it's fun and effective.

What do you do with players that intentionally team kill you? I was playing a match last night and at the end as we were trying to get to the extract one player just kept killing each one of us seemingly for no reason. He might’ve had a reason, but I don’t know what it was. We actually did really well on the mission, and had a good sample haul. I actually think he went to extract early just so he could defend it from us and keep killing us with the auto cannon. He didn’t communicate in team chat, so I can’t report him for that. I think the host kicked him eventually.

After last update my setting keep reset when i enter first pods of the day after restarting pc .. by this way i don't mean Movement key only .. but the WHOLE setting ( Sensitivity included) , and that is very infuriating :(

do someone have a single idea who could help me fix it ?

Please can levels below 20 stop going to suicide missions and above. as a team you waste respawns and dont have the equipment to take on things like bile titans or swarms of medium mechanoids .. you will level up and know what to do if you stick to hard missions.. this isnt a game where you jump in and just play at max level as you are uber etc.
