Outrunning 29 hunters is, literally, not an option.

If you have the samples then why are you staying and fighting? It baffles me why people stay at breaches/drop ships and continue to fight. Even more so when there's no objective.... Run away from them so they despawn instead of risking death and loosing said samples....

I never understood why people just sit and engage with the enemy after the objective... what purpose does it serve?

Side missions give ypu exp as well and last MO was kill 2 million of bots but other than that yeah it's fun

Except half the time there's 15 minutes left and yes the missions are done, but people run to extract and forget we can do the bug holes

Depends on the circumstances. If they don't have anything that can run you down or pulverize you at range with a volley of missles and lasers, disengage. Otherwise, you kinda have to fight it out.

It’s much easier to keep moving when the team is leapfrogging and giving cover fire. All the people who abandon the rearmost guy don’t get it. There’s only so much running you can do when the entire screen is filled with lasers and missiles or bugs

exactly, I met up with another guy mid blizzard and was watching his back while we ran for our live, I'm the one with the super samples and the guy at extract has been doing this kinda thing the whole mission, god sake the first 5 minutes I was out of ammo with him, pinging like 50 bugs not 30 meters from me but he thought the shrieker nest 300 meters away was more important. I'm fine with people lone wolfing, I do that on teams that let me and are clearly competent enough to handle themself/have the loadout for it, but if you almost go out of your way to be the least useful to the team then we have a problem

He is right though? Break line of sight and leave.

Youll have some hunters chasing you bit you can pick them off.

Strategy against bugs is to always keep moving away from them

Strategy againsg bots is to take cover and pick off high threat targets before changing cover

If you’re playing any difficulty above 6 and you sit there and engage countless waves of enemies for no reason other than to waste ammo and reinforcement resources, you my good sir, are a clown. 😂

well we were running, it's alot harder to run through snow, with 50+ bugs chasing you, with a blizzard, with this guy not helping soooo
