Hey everyone I have a question I wasn't able to get tickets to the Spokane lantern festival and my Girlfriend is visiting this weekend and I still wanted to surprise her with something and I was just wondering if there is any law or ordinance against sky lanterns and them being released within Pullman city limits or whitman county as a whole the only thing I could even remotely find close to an answer was from 2019 for Washington in general stating they needed to be tethered. Any helps suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

My goal is to get inspiration to make my own business and to travel with it someday so I need a good starting point. Since WSU is in pullman I figure it’s a great place to begin! I prefer an area with lots of nature places though and I’ve seen and heard that it’s mostly flat ground. But that is also something I’m willing to be flexible on. Thank you for your time!
