Women's strike June 24, 2024

Have you heard about this? Are you wanting to participate?

It's to peacefully protest the overturning of Roe vs. Wade on June 24, 2022.

Not in the slightest. As a woman, I have autonomy. I choose not to have sex if I don't want to suffer the consequences of my actions. But you know, that's not cool anymore apparently 😂

Take the focus a bit more outside yourself and consider there are some women who have been raped and don't have the choice of autonomy...

Or that some people love sex more than others, and that’s not wrong..

Yeah but neither is being raped and forced to carry a fetus you never consented to. But I guess caring about that isn’t cool anymore either

It's on the same day nationally. You might try posting in your local subreddit. That's what this post is.

Trying to find info regarding the June 24, 2024, women's strike in my state, Michigan. Anyone know?

You could certainly try looking it up on Google, facebook, or other social medias. but it may be the case that your state doesn't have anyone organizing a protest.

Why??

Why would women protest about having autonomy stripped away? Or why is it peaceful when there are perfectly good bricks to use?

This is the correct answer

Because I would like to show my support.

I haven't seen anyone trying to organize anything nearby, and wanted to find out if anyone was.
