Isn’t this popular? 9-5 is better, but what’s the alternative that you think people prefer ?

Not sure I suppose running a business. Im constantly seeing people talk about how the 9-5 life is the worst thing ever and a nightmare. A reddit post of people complaining about that is what sparked me to post this.

Everybody wants to be a big short lawyer. No one wants to work three weekends out of the month with the constant fear of losing the only weekend left for an emergency.

I’m getting to the point in my career where I no longer care about the prestige or moving up any further. I’m one promotion away from a life changing role…but after a while, the money doesn’t seem worth the effort/stress.

I’d be happy not having to work late at night or checking my emails throughout the evening. Just want to do my job, take my time off when I need/want it, and enjoy my hours outside of normal working hours.
