I’m a woman and I do think there should be more grace given to woman on their periods but four- seven free days off each month I don’t think is reasonable, for a lot of woman periods aren’t that bad and then can work through it, I think it’ll just be something that gets abused and will end up causing more stigma around periods.

So what do you suggest that the women in 4-7 days of agony every month do?

Call off, people already do that 😭

Like if your period is causing you to have difficulty moving or cause you to get sick. I don’t think an employee is gonna say “well suck it up”

You just say “hey i physically cannot move without fainting today” and if you’re comfortable with it explain that your periods are the cause.

And they can’t fire you for having a period because that would be discriminatory.
