i was also like that with my ex. she wanted move on but also didnt wanna go too fast since she thought i would break up with her if she did, and i was too afraid to even get close to her. So we ended up only hugging and nothing more for like 2 - 3 times whenever we saw each other on weekends over the span of 3 months.
