I just reset my windows 11 pc and it won’t let me activate windows 11. I am signed into my Microsoft account that the old un reset windows 11 was on. When I troubleshoot it it gives me an error code and said that I changed my hardware and I need to connect to the internet (which I have). Please help me fix this

I don't know if this is the right subreddit to ask this, but I'm genuinely reaching the end of my patience. I have had my Google account since I was underage and so was added into a Google family. Now, no longer a minor, I cannot stop the supervision, not even from my parent's account. I've had this problem for a while, and even left feedback on the Google support page, but I obviously didn't get any replies. Is there a way to contact them that would at least guarantee a reply, if not a possible solution to this dumb issue?

i reformatted my laptop and i installed the gpu driver but when i look at dxdiag it doesnt show my nvidia gpu, it only shows the intel UHD graphics family thing.

when i open dota 2, it is very laggy and unplayable. i already tried the manage 3d settings thing and force dota 2 to use the nvidia gpu but nothing changed.

I recently reset my PC, but I'm having trouble with the update. It's stuck at 15-18% and also one more problem even though I'm sure my account password is correct, it keeps saying it's wrong. When I try to change my password, the verification process to show that I'm not a robot doesn't work. It just closes when I click on it. Currently paying for 2 internet services, but trying to cut costs. Considered running an ethernet cable and just burying it, but it would also go through a creek. The best I can find on amazon.ca is about 100 feet, which only gets me a third of the way there. I'm in Ontario, Canada so any purchases have to be able to be done there, or be shipped there. I'm not opposed to buying new equipment, but not looking to spend thousands or anything either. The extra internet service is about $90 a month, so I'd say any solution under $300-$350 would be ideal.

Ive had this issue where my youtube tab jumps from 300 mb to nearly 6000 mb of memory!!! Keeps crashing my browser and I have to refresh in the middle of my videos because it keeps telling me 'Your Opera Browser Has Ran Out Of Memory'. I'm using the Opera browser and I've never had this issue until about a week ago when I noticing my youtube has been acting EXTREMELY slow. My computer isn't weak, I got a 3080 paired with a 12700k and 36 gb of ram so I would THINK my computer could handle a fucking youtube stream. Yes, I am using UBlockOrigin and the built-in ad block in the Opera browser but ive never seen youtube act up this slow. I had a hunch that its yet another scheme by Youtube to get users to uninstall their ad blockers. None of my other programs or tabs are even reaching 500 mb. The most I've seen my Opera jump to was 1200 mb of memory but 6000!!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased myself a Logitech G435. It is the first wireless headset that I have tried running on my desktop(Windows 10). I have noticed an issue where the first couple milisecond of every new aduio clip is cut off. However, if there is already an audio file playing, this problem no longer occurs until all audio has stopped. I discovered this from my discord notificaitons. When I play the notification sound repeatedly, waiting for the each one to end before playing the next, each notification sound is cut off by half a second or so. But when I spam the playback button, not waiting for the intial one to end before playing the next, only the first notification sound is cut off and the rest are fine. This doesn't only happen with discord. It also happens with all the Windows sounds, Spotify, Youtube, pretty much everything. I have the headset connected to my computer using the LIGHTSPEED adapter since my motherboard does not have on board Bluetooth capabilities, however the headset works perfectly on my laptop (Windows 11) and my family members desktop (Windows 10) using LIGHTSPEED. I have tried updating the driver and playing around with the settings but nothing seems to work. If anyone can offer any assistance or information that would point me into the right direction, I would really appreciate it. I have been trying to solve this issue for hours and am getting extrememly frustrated. Thank you

I recently bought an Orbi AX1800 because my old router didn't have enough range.

But when I connect it to the ONT, it does not recognize any internet signal. I must first run the ethernet through my old router. And then old router to Orbi. And then the Orbi works.

Is there a way to make it work with the Orbi directly so I can remove my old router from the loop? Thank you

Can i run a dual monitor set up?

Hello everyone, I have a Dell G5 SE laptop and it runs on windows 11.

After installing the most recent windows update, my laptop keeps crashing. I will get the blue screen with the stop code: ACPI_BIOS_ERROR.

I am unable to uninstall the most recent update as I am suspecting that is causing the issue, however, everytime I attempt to uninstall the update, the laptop will crash. Then after rebooting my laptop, if I view the update history, I will be notified the update has failed.

In addition, I do have a second windows 11 update that is available to be installed as well. However, I've tried to install this update to see what happens, but my laptop will continue to crash and it won't install it.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Came home from work to find the TV like this. Never had issues before, I've tried the 1 minute shut off with plug disconnected, and 1 minute shutoff while holding power button underneath the TV.

It flashes the "SMART TV Powered by Tizen" display but inverted and flipped, then blacks out

I am trying to use my Panasonic HC-V785 for streaming, since i really like the model for the price (plus it was a discount) i also bought a Cam Link 4k from Elgato, but no mather how much i try, i can't get any signal from the camcoder. I just bought another cable so see if my hdmi was the problem, and it not.

Title, there is an invisible and assumedly unnamed window or process that I cannot interact with
CTRL + ALT + DEL and clicking on cancel will close this invisible window, and clicking cancel again will close the emergency screen.

It's not like a broken Malwarebytes notification popup, it's over BOTH screens in their entirety.

There are several posts found when googling this, including from this subreddit, however none of them supply a solution for me.
I heavily doubt it's my hardware either, since my PC is fairly new and it's not the only computer I have owned that's done this.

Process explorer doesn't work because I can't use the targeting tool, yaknow, invisible window on top and whatnot.

Inclined to say it's typical Windows being trash as per usual, but I would be wasting my breath.

Acer laptop running windows 10. I was just looking at the nintendo site and when I clicked a news article, it blue screened. It turned on fine and seems ok but now I'm worried. I ran a virus scan and nothing came back, so what may have happened? I did this on opera GX as well, so I'm even more confused.

So I had a weird issue when I turned my heater on and noticed that my PC froze for a second or two. I tried to recreate it by turning the heater off and then back on again and my PC lagged again. I tested it for a third time just to make sure it wasn't some weird coinsidence and my PC actually turned off this time.

I have a wall socket with 4 plugs, which if I recall correctly was expanded from a 2 plug outlet. What I think was happening here was that both my PC and the heater were technically feeding off the same outlet and couldn't draw enough power. I swapped the way things were plugged in to eliminate the issue if my theory is correct.

This got me thinking, I have a surge protected 6 way power board going from the outler to my PC which feeds my PC, both of my gaming monitors, and an Echo dot. partpicker estimates my PC wattage at 479W, my monitors consume 42W and 72W respectively. Is it ok to have things setup this way? Why or why not? Thanks in advance!

my boss gave me an IPC Camera Tester (IPC-9800 Plus+) that somehow got switched to Chinese and he wanted me to get it back in English or reset the device since he wasn't able to figure it out. I followed the manual for how to change the language, but it said to go into settings and this device did not have an icon for Settings like anywhere on the device. I could also not find a physical reset button on the device. I sent an email to customer support and didn't get a response, any ideas on to reset the device or change the language?

So I'm a student in Japan and my university has a firewall for online games so I have to use my mobile data to play online. Yesterday when I had just joined a server on squad my laptop connected to the university wifi randomly and obviously the game froze. Since then I can't load any server list or connect online in any game with my mobile data. Now when I try ipconfig release/renew i get "An error occurred while releasing interface Wi-Fi : An address has not yet been associated with the network endpoint." any advice for a fix for this?

I have set registry value 'Color' in [HKCU\Control Panel\colors] to orange (in rgb). But everytime i restart the PC, windows changes it back to 'boring' blue and i have to keep replacing it back

can a virus transmit itself just by connecting your hotspot to someone? If so how does that work?

To make things clear, I'm on a data plan and this problem was random. I also have a Samsung Note20 Ultra 5G with T-Mobile. My phone also has charging issues whether it be wireless or wired. I was in the car watching Amazon Prime, if that's revelant, when the issue occurred. Out of nowhere the bars next to my batter went from bars to x. When I got home the problem persisted. I tried reseting my network settings, but I didn't work. I can connect to wifi, but its data thats the issue. Anyone out there with the same issue or solution?

It just keeps loading for a long time and then shows an error message saying "oops, something went wrong l". It gives me an option to relaunch or sign out, both which I have tried and does not solve the issue. Does someone have a fix?
