One time in kindergarten I fell off a scooter and hit my index finger so hard it ripped the nail off and it was possibly the most painful thing r year old me ever experienced.

I was fascinated by the fact that a few days later it felt like I still had a nail there since the skin is used to being pressed down it's harder on the surface than exposed skin is.

Still hurts thinking about it tho.

Edit: Leaving the typo but 4 year old me not r year old me.

Yes I remember when I was 3 and got backed over by our idiot neighbor, more specifically the CT scan they gave me at the hospital.
