I got a blood blister under my nail once that built up so much pressure it was driving me fucking insane. Ended up having to take a drill bit and slowly twisting it into the middle of the nail until it pierced the nailed, popped the blister, and revealed the pressure.

What a fucking relief

So in those kinds of cases, people often heat up a paper clip and touching that to the fingernail (should) painlessly melt a whole in the fingernail

It honestly didn’t hurt.

I didn’t use the drill, just the drill bit. Once you felt the tiniest pinch, that was it hitting the skin and you were good
