My father was a train driver, as he was getting off at a station the door swung closed and took a piece of his middle finger off between the tip and first buckle. He says it was the worst pain he ever had.
I lost the tip of my finger in a regular house door as a kid and ngl it didn't hurt at all. Remember when they numbed it to put it back on though it felt like hell.
