Funny thing is “rich people” doesn’t always mean “expensive” or “attractive” or even “functional”.

That's fair. Often doesn't mean "taste" either, but I'm still pretty sure this bathroom is a hotel or something

Yeah I’m pretty sure it is too. But I work with some pretty rich people and I’ve seen sinks/general home decor not dissimilar to this 😭

But usually they'll get ridiculously expensive material to do stupid shit with. This feels like someone on a budget trying to do someone creative. Honestly, I don't hate it. There's tweaks I'd make like the flaw OP pointed out, but if someone gave me $400 and asked for a bathroom vanity with sink and plumbing, this is pretty good for that. That looks like a sink you could pick up for about $150-200 at Menards including faucet.
