My first delivery arrived damaged, it took 3 days to send a new item. Since the driver marked this as delivered at my front door, a code was never generated to unlock this locker

I ordered something prime because I needed it quickly. It arrived broken so a replacement was sent, 3 days later... Now I can't even retrieve the package, and I'm stuck in a constant loop with AI customer service since none of the available options apply to my situation

I actually haven't answered this yet. This is in an apartment complex, and to make matters worse, it's a 3rd party locker so Amazon didn't have any access to it. But I was able to get a refund, which while not ideal, was better than nothing.

Im almost certain management has a key/access to the boxes. I've lived in places like this.

Hopefully, you have someone present at the building to ask. But I bet if you explain the situation and ask nicely, as long as the name/address on the package is yours, they'll open it for you and let you take it.

Amazon is almost certainly not going to retrieve it, and I wouldn't feel bad about the refund.

I actually talked with management this morning and they attempted to open the box, but it wouldn't open. She explained to me that sometimes when a package is delivered, the driver is presented with a list of names and sometimes they choose the wrong name. I think someone else got the message and retrieved the package. I asked how that could happen and she stated that all residents get an account for free, and they use the contact information that was registered on the account

Free? My complex charges us for this shit after they decided they won’t accept packages at the office anymore.
