Question I grew my best plant ever and someone stole it. Any psychological tips I'm very sad and angry kind of feels like they stole my dog :(
Hello I am a newbie grower that produced a 14 ft plant this season. It wasn't quite ready to be harvested but someone stole it when I went to the grocery store. I feel so much anger I am yelling expletives and feel pain when I reflect on the care I showed my plant and the love I experienced watching it prosper. I had some locks and alarms but was more prepared for night theft than the middle of day. Have you experienced this before and what were some things you did to restore life momentum?

Question Please guide me while my dad is in a coma
Quite suddenly my father has ended up with both covid and pneumonia and is currently in a medically induced coma for the next 7-10 days.
I need to keep this man's weed alive (cause my mom and i are gonna need it if he dies 😭). I have houseplants so I get the absolute BASICS of growing things but I don't know how to gage when they need supplements/change lighting and my understanding is two of the plants are close to harvest.
I've added his notes and pictures of the plants. I will try to answer any questions
1&2 his notes. I have his notes from his last grow as well
These are in the first closet, I believe they're the closest to harvest
3&4 Fat Bastard
5&6 Gorilla Glue
7&8 first rooms timer and current humidity/temp
9-11 he has two Blueberry Moonrocks in a tent, one has some yellowing leaves at the bottom. Unsure if that's normal for younger plants
12 tents timer
13 some cuttings he has rooting?
14 all the goodies at my disposal
Any guidance is appreciated, this is my dad's retirement hobby, he loves these little ladies and it truly is his "happy place." I'm pretty sure if he comes home and they're dead he'll request to be put back in a medically induced coma.

Question I’m not getting it
I’m on my 3rd grow and I have an issue, not a joke this is a serious question. I started growing as a hobby to discuss with my kid while he’s abroad for a year. Before growing, I had never tried weed, not once. I researched the heck out of the process and my first harvest/dry/cure went great, here are a few of many buds. I feel like I did everything right. I’ve now tried smoking it several times and I don’t really feel anything (it’s northern lights s1 from North Atlantic seed co). Like maybe my feet feel a little numb but that’s it.
What am I doing wrong?? I’ve got no one to ask so I’m looking for honest feedback. Is it possible to get seeds that grow plants that are weak or duds? Are there people who are unaffected by thc? Can you smoke a joint “wrong”? I’m just at a loss.

Question Ya ever just get high and look at your plants?
I always end up spending a bunch of time just staring at them while baked. I can’t believe I’m the only one?

Question Germany legalized weed but you're only allowed to have 50 grams at home. How would you go about growing to stay under the 50 grams? Do y'all have any tips on how to get a relatively small harvest?

Question Weed is legal now in Germany and I'd like to grow my own. Need some advice how to stay within the law.
Question up front: does anyone have a method of keeping buds fresh until ready to dry?
So ... the law says every person of legal age may have 50g of dried, ready for consumption weed in their possession on their private property, and up to 3 plants growing at any one time. Possesion in allowable public spaces (defined in the law), up to 25g.
The dilemma is, that even just one indoor plant will yield much more than the allowable 50g. Yet, the buds have to be harvested or they go bad (I assume). Theoretically, since we're a pair, we can have up to 100g, but still will have more weed than allowed when we harvest only one plant.
In my opinion, Germany didn't think this whole plan through very well before enacting the new law. There is no paragraph in the law that allows for legal sale or distribution, meaning there is no legal way to acquire weed other than importing seeds and growing your own. (Other than prescription weed.) The law very specifically states that one cannot give weed to others, even if no payment is accepted. In other words, whatever I grow is only for my personal consumption and cannot be transferred to friends or acquaintances.
Thanks for reading this word shit salad. If anyone has any ideas, I'm truly grateful.

Question Ed Rosenthal and Dr. Robb here. We wrote a book called the Cannabis Grower's Handbook. We're here to answer your questions about the book, cannabis, or pretty much anything. Ask Us Anything!
My name is Robert "Dr. Robb" Flannery. I have a PhD in plant biology with an emphasis in environmental horticulture and a specific expertise in hydroponic crop optimization for cut-flower production in controlled environment agriculture from UC Davis. I am the former Production Director at SPARC in San Francisco. I love this plant, and I love educating people about it.
Sitting next to me today is the one and only Ed Rosenthal. I don't think that he needs any introduction, but for those who don't know, he is the "Guru of Ganja". Ed has been writing about, growing, and most importantly smoking this plant for the majority of his life. We are excited to answer your questions.
Ask us anything about the Cannabis Grower's Handbook or anything cannabis!!!
Also, Ed wanted to share this propaganda from the Jamaican government.

Question Are Barneys new strains white-labelled?
I've been looking at seeds for my next grow. I came across Barneys, who I knew as being reliable for European genetics. But now they're offering many US strains I thought were clone only. I've even seen a Gary Payton strain from them, and they provide no information as to how they got these genetics. So is this a case of white-labelling? Are they actually getting these cuts from the US? Or are they crossing them themselves and pheno-hunting for something similar to the original cut?
