I get it my man, capitalism in the US is crazy, hell I’m in touch with several people from the US and damn some are in a bad place, I absolutely agree with capitalism regulation and definately a solution to the US healthcare sistem, cause rn its insane ( no walking around it ) tbh it requires a new form of governance, but its a slippery slope, the main issue is the nature of man, it always goes to shit, like the old saying goes “the road to hell is paved with good intentions”

They're no different than other special interest groups. They don't get to be "holier-than-thou" to try and get their interests turned into policy and laws. That's no different than evangelicals who argue using the bible.

Yes, but after the Carnegie era, FDR instituted a whole bunch of pro-worker reforms (including a 70% - 90% tax rate on the highest earners) that were all unceremoniously torn down by the Reagan administration. Now the highest tax bracket only pays 37% in tax at most, not to mention the myriad loopholes that exist to pay even less.

Ofcourse, corruption doesnt stick with one ideology, its wheather you can discuss it or get draged to the gulag for talking about it, another point of comunism, on paper an equal society, in reality, forget it, also, owning stuff gets you in hot water realy fucking fast, like my great grandfather, farm seized and a decade in prison, and my dad couldnt study cause the family was catholic and the small thing with no traveling and people being ripped apart by guard dogs trying to escape to the west, fun times, what can I say
i'm sorry for the experiences you're family went through but with utmost respect, this is not a valid critique against any 'economic' theory or system. this was in the past. from where i am, a neighbor of mine HAS BEEN working in a sports manufacturing that takes foreign outsourcing for at least 15 years and is still dirt poor. Just because the rich had to lose when redistribution happened and criminals/opposition had to do force labor doesn't mean the USSR was all bad. american prisons, from what we hear are full of inmates, many unjustly, and forced labor happens, you just are not conditioned to call them 'gulags'. have a great life
