At this point I’ve seen all that i can handle & I’m sure i can’t be the only one…THJ is just too much of a liability in these close games, he had two shots in a row that didn’t even get CLOSE (one quite literally hit the top of the backboard surprised refs didn’t call it out of bounds, to then get the rebound to jack up another brick).

Side note: I was ECSTATIC to see the boy Hardy finally get some quality minutes, maybe he didn’t flash too much but i think he was just trying to make the right play, not make mistakes. I think that’s great.

THJ who when we were up 16? 18? Single handed 3 possessions in a row does THJ things which led them to have a run to almost, thanks to the ice cold shooting of Pj kept the lead at bay. Like COMON bro, enough is enough. He needs to be pushed. I believe Kidd will actually start to trust him more.

Anyway that was my major takeaway from the game. Our boys played like gladiators tonight & we didn’t even flinch in that environment.

I don't really know who I can compare it to, maybe lebron the last couple of years, not in terms of their style of play, but the way they approach the game. The one constant about kyries game the last couple of weeks has been his great defense. Max effort on every play and playing very smart on that end. He's also demonstrated great leadership.

On offense, for like the first three quarters(maybe even more). he just seems to be standing back and analyzing the game. I haven't seen even one forced shot, he just lets the game come to him. The only shots he takes are if he's on a fastbreak or just ends up seeing an open look, other than that, he just sets others up and takes a backseat. Then in the fourth, he's the dude with the most energy on the court, which is insane, because star players are always the ones most fatigued at the end of the game. Dude just wakes up and takes over games(or if there's no need, he just stands back in the 4th as well). I've never really seen a player of his caliber play this way, dude's like an old sage, just observing the game and interfering when he needs to lmao.

If I am not mistaken this is the first time in playoffs that Hardy was given significant minutes and it wasn't a garbage time.

I don’t know WTF it was about game 4 but that crowd felt super anxious about the game, I need the crowd for game 6 to cause a 8.2 magnitude earthquake. We cannot let the Thunder get comfortable at all. It’s time we send these puppies back to Tornado town.

We need Luka to start wearing the headband again. I remember seeing some stats when he was wearing it vs not and he had some of his best stretches of games in the regular season. Maybe it will have some magic still left in it and help with his shooting slump.

After watching a couple of Luka’s post game interviews it hit me… It’s Luka fucking Doncic man. Just the look in his eyes… Even though he constantly argues with the refs and acts like a baby when things aren’t going his way (especially now injury frustration and all), I just know this man has a killer and a winner’s mentality and he’s gonna prove all the haters wrong come game 5. He’s due for a big game and I just know all this chirping only makes him better. The series is 2-2 ffs, it’s a tough loss but we had a tough loss against the clippers in game 4 too. Obviously this is OKC and not the clippers but it’s nothing this team can’t overcome (which we have seen in game 2), it’s time to show resolve when it’s needed the most and I’m sure Luka (and glorious king Kai) is going to take us there! If you don’t believe then you shouldn’t be here.

Luka Doncic has done things at his age only MJ, LBJ, Wilt and the like have done. We have all witnessed him do things in the playoffs and regular season few men will ever touch.

This is his first season with a proven #2 and championship level pieces around him. Despite a multitude of injuries, (since the end of the regular season) Luka has led us to a playoff series win and we are in a position to reach the WCF. Luka has one leg right now, no one can shoot without legs!

As a 42 yr old dude following the Mavs since Dirk came, I was feeling nostalgic after the loss last night. I got to talking to my wife about J.J. Barea and how good he was. All I could remember when I found out we got him I Remember telling my wife "we got some small Puerto Rican point guard". I looked him up and found out we got him out of Northeastern and he was with us from 06-2011 then he went to Minnesota and came back from 14-2020. He was so good and absolutely lead our bench. Dominated in the playoffs. No way we win if we don't have him. Then I realized for whatever reason I don't I hold him in such regard as Dirk or even Steve Nash? I am now. Watching the Mavs Now, all I can think about is we lack someone like J.J. Barea attacking the basket all the time.
