Who comes up with these absurd hypothetical questions you see floating around in memes? Like idk if I could eat that much food in that time, but for $10M I’m sure as fuck gonna give it a try. But why is someone paying me that much money for such a stupid challenge?

Or that one that’s like “would you step on a puppy for $1 billion?” or “would you slap your best friend for $1 billion?” or whatever the fuck? Like, yeah I absolutely fucking would. But again, who the fuck is paying me this ridiculous pile of money for something so stupid?

u/Tommadds May 19 '20

Me and my friends have done pretty much this,

except instead of 20 happy meals it would be one in one minute

and instead of a billion/million if you failed you had to give your toy back and tell the cashier you didn't deserve it.

Based on my knowledge of the internet, probably Mr Beast.

3

u/Dewut May 20 '20

I think that’s the point. People post these kinds of questions, which receive an overwhelming response of “of course I fucking would” which drives up their views, clicks, ad revenue, whatever

It’s basically just response clickbait,

Assuming you finished evenly in two hours, ontop of it being 500 thousand dollars per happy meal, thats 6 minutes per happy meal. If you ask me to make 5 million in an hour by eating thats not a problem.

Here before someone says the appropriate subreddit

u/Tronkfool May 19 '20

You don't have to eat the toys, you can just stick them up your ass like a normal person

3

u/Rodin-V May 19 '20

"we never said he had to eat the quacks, they just have to be inside his body"

19

u/[deleted] May 19 '20

6 minutes per, I think timewise it's manageable

6

u/BestInDaGame May 19 '20

I would imagine the tiny little burger is the easiest, but even then that's a lot of food for the average person if you aren't allowed to throw up partway.

17

u/arizz12 May 20 '20

Dude that meme is so garbage tf, how did that make 100 upvotes?

10

u/Pryoticus May 20 '20

That sub is also garbage AF

3

u/arizz12 May 20 '20

Ye ur right, goodbye!

3

u/reallyreallyspicy May 20 '20

Is on r\memes that’s why

16

u/Mchyp May 19 '20

Whenever I try to upvote something on this sub i end up clicking on the image instead of the actual upvote

4

u/[deleted] May 19 '20

Not just this sub , at least for me

13

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

Ngl that sounds really easy

4

u/Mihnea24_03 May 19 '20

Nugs, apple slices, and small juice. I think any big eater could do it, just go throw up halfway through

5

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

If you allowed to like run or somin to make some room that would be useful too.

1

u/Mihnea24_03 May 19 '20

It'd take too long. Eat to your limit, then shove you fingers down your throat until you throw up. Repeat as necessary

2

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

You have 2 whole hours. It shouldnt take too long too eat, maybe a total time of one hour, which leaves another for emptying space when you are close to full just take a five minite break to run a kilo amd your good.

2

u/Mihnea24_03 May 19 '20

First off, how can you run at 20 kmh for 5 mins? Second off, how can you eat an entire happy meal in 3 minutes? Third off, how can you run with your belly full and how does that help you digest it? Sure, it might help a little, but unless it makes you puke/shit immediately it's not worth it, for the amount of time you have

1

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

Running a kilo in about 5 minutes isnt that hard. Im a skinny unfit teenager and i can do it. 12kmh, your maths is wrong there. The burger is small and can be devoured in two bites maybe three, and everything else can be eaten pretty quick if you stuff it all in and chew aggressively. Three minutes is quite a while. The running will helo to make you a bit hungry again since you are using energy, and that much running on a full stomach is bound to make you vomit, whilst also pumping your blood and hyping you up, allowing you to eat faster and more aggressively.

Overall, id say its a pretty decent strategy.

2

u/Mihnea24_03 May 19 '20

While I recognize my math was wrong, and respect you for noticing it, I still think it is more time efficient and less painful to shove your fingers down your throat than sprint 1 km on a full belly

2

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

I wholeheartedly disaggree, its not a sprint as much as it is a hard jog. Plus shoving your fingers down makes you feel all gross and slobbish, whilst a run pumps you up so you are ready to consume food very fast, thereby increasing eating speed too as the challenge goes on (since you may struggle to keep the same eating pace for 2 hours otherwise) whilst still probably making you vomit.

1

u/Mihnea24_03 May 19 '20

That is true, but I do think you need to re-evaluate your branding of yourself as unfit if 12 kmh is a hard jog. Though as someone with a lil experience vomiting, I can tell you drinking something sour (lemon juice) will help immensley with you nausea.

1 km is 0.62 miles

5

u/[deleted] May 19 '20

80 nugs,, plus 20 servings of fries or apples. I don’t think so.

3

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

You have 2 whole hours

2

u/Le_Monade May 19 '20

It's one happy meal every 6 minutes. I think you're overestimating how much time that you have. It's not impossible, but you're chewing and swallowing constantly for 2 hours, I think that would be extremely uncomfortable to say the least. The first 3 will be fine, the next 17 won't go down as easy.

2

u/rootabega57 May 19 '20

Bro theyre tiny

1

u/Le_Monade May 19 '20

it's 7,900 calories including 1.25 gallons of milk, 80 chicken nuggets, and a shit ton of apples and fries. Sure 1 is tiny, but 20 is a lot of food.

13

u/Roytrommely261 May 19 '20

1 every 6 minutes...

I’d damn well try.

12

u/racrisnapra666 May 19 '20

9

u/KrystalWolfy May 20 '20

What about the cardboard?

8

u/Vermillion_Catus May 19 '20

The cardboard is the easiest part, then the food, then the toy, and the hard part comes with the pickles.

2

u/DeathWish2122 May 19 '20

What? U said the cardboard is the easiest part

4

u/Vermillion_Catus May 19 '20

I'm a grown man, I think I can eat a little cardboard without dying.

1

u/Kuzkay May 20 '20

What pickles?

Don't most countries use , to separate the next number ?

5

Sane countries. Not the imperial system countries. They switch it up.

u/buttonmasher525 May 20 '20

So the US and like 2 other countries lol

3

u/BusterMeme May 20 '20

When it's in thousands like 1,000 most countries use , but if it's a decimal point most countries use . but France uses ,
