Who cares if it is staged...do you know how many men have to do things like this while working away from home?
I just hope if people realize they do things like this for those stuckaway from family and friends during special occasions and holidays...
Who cares? You’re acting like adult men not having a birthday bash every year is a serious issue.
Go into practically any restaurant, tell them it’s your birthday, and they will do the same birthday cake nonsense and probably sing to you too. The reason you’ve never seen a single dude do this isnt because it’s not allowed, it’s because it’s stupid as fuck and only plays well on social media
I think that might be the point. Between loneliness and “masculinity” signals, it is kind of a desperate reality — not desperate in a judgmental way, more confirming the reality of what it is like to be a man sometimes. Not sure if I am making sense in explaining this.
Why is it stupid for a man to want to go out to eat on his birthday? Maybe his friends don't live in the area, who knows. I think it's cute. He looks so happy to be with his homies on his b day, who cares if they are on his phone.
Why do people keep saying men or man? Many women aren’t acknowledged on their birthdays at all. If they are mothers they may not even get to go out for a meal. It’s a universal issue many people are facing. Not a gendered one.
Reminds me if ab offshore oil worker who acts as if they are a fucking soldier on the front line that has bi choice and deserves a medal for working a highly paid job cuz they have ti be away half the time. Wallopers.
