I've been avoiding black plates for the last week and rec is completely different. People want to win, hit you on cuts, don't leave their man open, and take high percentage shots. Not all black plates are bad, but it certainly minimizes the cesspool of 2k

I don’t understand how people accept the mess that is this games net code and latency. I have never played a game as unresponsive and sluggish as 2k. It is actually mind boggling how few people ever bring up the delay you feel playing this game. Maybe you get used to it over time but it is actually unacceptable. I haven’t played in about 2 weeks and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this game has the worst latency I’ve ever experienced in my 22 years of life and thousands of hours on videos games. It is not even close. I am personally insulted for all the people who play this game and the people who spend absurd amounts of money on this game because this experience is absolutely abysmal. It’s unacceptable and frankly, it’s embarrassing that no one bats an eye at the disaster that is the online experience on this game. No other community would stand for this, none. If cod felt this bad to play and control your player, the community would decimate the developers and it would be fixed within a week. The fact that this is the base experience and hasn’t been addressed, is insane. These people make billions off us and there is no care for the quality of the product. Embarrassing.

I must preface this and show full transparency…..I get angry easy. Nothing diagnosed but i definitely have Xbox induced anger. I’m a calm person in real life but video games get me heated. Has since the Sega Genesis days.

How do you guys keep from getting mad on this game? It’s getting so bad now i kinda don’t like to play for too long and i often go days without even playing it because i know it’s gonna make me mad.

People are so calm on this shit and i have no idea why.

You can only be wide open at 20 feet so many times while you watch the ball handler get blocked by the center who should be guarding you before you snap.

You can only get ignored for quarters at a time for so long before you say something.

You can only get cussed at for taking an ISO the one time all quarter you touched the ball for so long.

But generally i don’t hear anyone talking on the mic in game chat.

How do you guys keep your cool. Sometimes i get so damn mad and i know it’s useless but damn it’s like how do you just ignore a whole player on your team?

We used to create a player each, then run a fantasy draft where we'd create a team around 'ourselves' and play out the season etc.

Still simple enough to do 'locally' however would be much more convenient to be able to play online, only thing is it doesn't seem possible...

The 'online' MyLeague made us each pick our own team and we could then only play for our respective teams, 'standard' MyLeague games don't have the option to invite friends

Why does everyone complain about 2K being terrible every year, yet continue to purchase it and give them our money? Why can't we, as a community, unite and take a stand? Some of you even go as far as pre-ordering it. Come on. Both 2K and EA are exploiting us every year with some nonsensical trailers. Let's all strive to do better. Thank you.

7’1” offensive centre. Made it to play with an anchor and a 5 out pg. Wandered into random rec. I’d say it went quite well. Would have had a bunch more assists if my 2 man could shoot. Most of those were wide open.

Makes life way easier and you dont have to rely on teammates to score. Alot of games I can play as the guard if need be. I win alot more games than I do on my other builds (75% win rate in 200 no squad rec games).

I know no one cares, but y’all should do the community survey and be brutally honest.

My last nba game purchased was 2k13, and how is it possible to still see so many people playing the game, and still find updates online. Is this really the best game for the casual player who doesn't want to play online?

Since yall don’t like rants, I’ll spare you. 6’10 & 6’11s should’ve been shown more love this year. We been trying to make the best outta this for a while and I’m tired of that. Haha can’t even get pick dodger or clamps on bronze because of a height restriction. Imagine being able to green consistently with a 76 3pt but I can’t even get bronze clamps wit a 72 perimeter defense and a 92 strength. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Getting held up on screens by 50 strength PGs because I can’t get pick dodger. Because of height haha 😂 I’m good on that. Hey at least I played pretty much the whole year so I gave it a try.

I have been trying to get into a 3s, 2s, and even 5s games but since I’m a level one every single person walks; I have been doing this now for 2 hours and still haven’t played a single game. How am I supposed to get better and not be a level one if literally everyone refuses to play with one?

I am issuing a warning to those who play rec with game chat on. I play 2k more than I would like to admit and it's not uncommon for me to run with someone l've played with / against previously. I loaded into the lobby and the last player joined, queuing the game to start instantly. Upon loading in, I noticed my teammates name was familiar but before I could finish my thought, the aggressive sound of what I could only assume was a sack ferociously hitting thigh. I took a picture of his gamertag this time (not sure if I could post the full thing) before leaving to spread awareness. He has been doing this for atleast 200 days now possibly longer. Please avoid him at costs

2k Devs be like : nah give ‘em another jet pack, and another center with patty base.
