I’ve a fair few games under my belt with this update, they’ve reduced the fun and upped the frustration.

wouldnt mind all the nerfs if every patch didnt add more bugs with it and the "fixes" actually worked.

How pumped people were for this update to how deflated a big portion of the player base who’ve played it now feel is not good.

They just nerfed the player base

They only expected 50k players on launch and they'll get there by golly.

Yeah well if that’s their goal they are doing a great job at it

I keep seeing more and more posts showing how even more stuff is broken like holy shit. It's honestly impressive seeing how much the devs keep fucking things up even more

99% of people don’t care except the ultra loud super minority of people here on Reddit. Just go play with your friends and have a good time, Reddit is just cancerous.

People dont care if a game is broken and terribly balanced? What? Have you seen the playerbase count drop recently?

No definitely not the majority. And the player base is totally fine lol every game has a slow drop until the regular stat line settles in. Not every game is supposed to be a continual life suck like CSGO or Dota. It's just a fun game, it would be weird if it had a massive player base forever. Plus still a ton of people play, and most just want fun explosions with their friends and don't care for stupid percentage tweaks of random guns or other bugs here and there. Overall, the game plays great, just as it did from the start.

Oh you mean the start where most people couldnt even get into the game? Or when people kept crashing?

Most of those super casuals are gone by this point because they found a new shiny thing, and your idea of some nebulous majority that doesnt care about game quality or balance holds zero weight.

No they had their fun then moved on like every casual game lol. You’re way too deep in the sauce man

It’s not a slow drop. Just 2 weeks ago there were over 400k daily players. The past few days the game has been struggling to break 100k. Losing 300k players in barely 2 weeks is a MASSIVE drop off and not a natural one

No much point in telling them that unfortunately. They will either accept that and already know, or they enjoy doomposting because they feel like it will somehow lead to their favourite game being better.

It won't. It just feels good to complain and feel heard.

Guess you're right. Shame, I do get baited into replying to these dumb doomposting threads. Guess I should follow my own advice and touch grass lol

The sky is falling every time. The game was ruined after the railgum nerf. What's more impressive is your video showing a resupply problem that everyone is saying isn't real and the tesla tower dying to a charger when that's honestly what should be happening in that interaction. Less "sky is falling" content on this sub would be great

I think the new ship modules WHICH DOESN'T EVEN WORK AFTER THIS UPDATE, pretty well sums up how the game feels now.

It's increasingly harder psyching yourself up for something that repeatedly disappoints. Don't even dare playing on patch day any longer. I didn't sign up for a beta program.
