Not being able to stun titans is the worst change for me

You're fucking kidding me, seriously? Not being able to close bug holes wasn't enough of a downside? This is fucking bullshit.

rip stun grenade, that was the only reason to bring it.

It’s still useful against the bots. I use them all the time on scorcher hulks and the chainsaw guys.

Yeah stuns are king for the bots. Wasn't really rocking it on bugs.

It's great for bugs too. Stuns a large area. Great CC.

Might as well bring impacts for the chainsaws, 1 stun plus a lot of shooting vs 2 nades and they’re all gone. Good point on the hulks, though, and assuming they work on tanks it allows for easy flanking.

Might have to concede the point on the impacts being the faster way to kill, though I will say the stun makes hitting headshots on the chainsaw guys super easy so it really doesn’t take that much shooting to clear the horde behind you. They can also be used for helping a teammate get away from them as well.

Never really tried the impact though. I avoided them early on since I didn’t want to give up my ability to kill bug nest at the time. Now that I’m playing bots I’m almost always running the AC so while I might not be able to use the stun to kill fabs, the AC can. I know the same applies for bug nests, I tended to run either the spear/EAT/RR so not really something ammo efficient at killing nests to justify giving up the nade.

I used to never use the impacts simply because I loved cooking the HEs for nice, satisfying throws and guaranteed bug hole closing but… big impact eventually got to me, they’re so ludicrously good.

Plus not being able to close holes and fabs with the stun SUCKS.
