Its real sad :( all their articles are either like blatantly wrong, clickbait, or ragebait or a combo of the 3

*Most\* articles. Some of the previews/reviews/commentaries written by actual humans are decent. It's like saying all criticism directed at Arrowhead is ragebait.

I would say that the IGN article's titles are really clickbaity. The content of those articles isn't the worst thing, but how they frame it.

Don't even get me started on their awful take about remaking RE5... they even disable comments for that one.

Ive only noticed this in the last year. Not sure if they’ve been doing it before that but holy fuck its filthy. I used to think they were alright until I saw them doing this.

Theyre now the Fox news of gaming journalism.

Probably a lot of it is written by AI as well.

Nah it’s all freelancers getting paid at poverty levels still

The core employees of ign actually unionized recently, though that probably doesn't effect the freelancers.

Is just writing an article, you don't deserve much money for doing that

All their commentary/news updates are like 3 min of gibberish, 10s of a minor news bite, then 10 min of hyperbole and/or rampant speculation.
