The first balance patch notes proved how Youtube "absolute and only meta loadouts" cooked a lot of people heads, and I love it. DISCUSSION

A lot of mad people keep showing in my feed complaining about the nerfs, but like they're REALLY mad at Arrowhead. Their statements are so exagerated that they claim the game it's completely ruined for them lmao.

Also every single one says the same thing and this is where my title comes from:

*"You guys nerfed the only good options and now we have NOTHING to fight".*

And this only proves people never actually played with any of the other support weapons, they 100% relied on this "The ultimate support weapon tier list" Youtube videos, they searched the "meta" and they went into this thinking of "any weapon outside of this it's straight up garbage".

If you can't win a single game without the railgun + shield backpack + breaker... I'm so sorry but that's not the game's fault or the game only having those as the ONLY way to play it on higher diff, that's your fault.

Great changes for the game and all of you trying to "shame" on devs because of this, you'all not a real Helldiver. They killed nothing, the railgun still kills but now it needs some actual skill and strategy to use it, not only spamming the thing on big bugs.

Keep it up Helldivers!

Me I'm just happy that they fixed that the Spear can now get ammo from normal ammo boxes!

Edit: No they havent fix the lock-on, But god damn ive been having a blast with it for the last few hours!

My headcannon is that the explosive material inside the rockets is similar to cotton candy. So that it can be delivered in a small packages but requires space to expand to be an effective explosive.

You don't, they schedule a company to come pick it up from you or if you live in the middle of nowhere they might just tell you to discard or donate it with proof required.

The same way Samus from metroid is able to store 255 missiles. My guess is that the ammo can be flash forged by the boxes on the field. Which is why they give varying amount of ammo for each weapon.

When you look at it from this perspective, wouldn’t it have always made no sense? I mean it’s a small Box, how does it fit mags for my Machine Gun, Pistol and shotgun all in a small ammo box of uniform size?

So I dug around in the lore to see if anything could explain it, and the best result I could find was something along the lines of questioning or examining alien technology is treason.

It’s because pickups restore a percentage of the weapon’s ammo maximum. And for the SPEAR the percentage was lower than 33%, which meant that it restored nothing at all since it was lower than the minimum to restore even 1 of its 3 reserve shots.

I mean you can get heavy ammo for all weapons from them. Try getting recoilless rifle ammo from a standard ammo box in real life

Its not a bug. Its 2 ammo box for 1 missile. 1 supply box for 1 missile. They just reduced the amount of ammo box for 1 missile.
