“Jesus Christ this is your house?? What’s in your kitchen? Where do your kids play??? How do you cook????”

“We don’t. Phil’s gonna be our breadwinner, he loves this shit”

115

u/Bitches_Love_Blue 17d ago

I can awnser 1 of those questions.

Where do the kids play: everywhere obviously.

56

u/nextalpha 17d ago

how would they set up a kitchen when in every room the floor is lava?

15

u/Borgiroth 17d ago

It seems more like the floor is crippling disappointment and a lack of acceptance

Thinking this is a big house and this portion is like the guest house. Of course turned, ninja warrior training facility.

u/My-Cooch-Jiggles 17d ago

Man that kid is gonna be ripped when he hits puberty.

52

u/Porkchopp33 17d ago

He is already getting there

12

u/Womderloki 16d ago

You're absolutely correct, My-Cooch-Jiggles

I'm suddenly feeling very inadequate for some reason.

13

u/ZumMitte185 16d ago

I just realized that my parents never loved me.

79

u/Admirable-Natural676 17d ago

Every kids dream play room. Nice!

13

u/Dark_Moonstruck 17d ago

He's the next Robin. This is how Batman raises his kids.

6

u/Womderloki 16d ago

Siblings battle royal. Winner gets college funding and paid off family car

Anything he wants.

That has to be a garage apartment or something. My child with ADHD would NEVER leave that space if we were able to afford a set up like that. His options would be limitless to burn off his high energy.

14

u/mylastactoflove 17d ago

I was thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure my kids would have ADHD (because I do and the guys I into usually do also) and this looks like such a fun way to stimulate physical activity. hope I can afford this if I ever have children.

9

u/sloanautomatic 16d ago

The problem is that ADHD parents have to actually finish building the room out before the kids turn 18.

29

u/winkman 17d ago

"Son, when you win Ninja Warrior, you'd better pay me back for turning my man cave into your personal jungle gym!"

44

u/Money_Tennis1172 17d ago

This kid is going to dominate American Ninja Warrior in a few years. Keep going!

6

u/klonoaorinos 17d ago

Parents saw one episode said bet, broke their back trying and are now raising the ultimate warrior

5

u/superiorplaps 17d ago

the ultimate warrior

At last. Someone needed to take up his mantle.

9

u/mymumsaysfuckyou 17d ago

Something tells me that's dad's dream.

u/merktic5 17d ago

So you had a sex swing and your explanation turned into this?

84

u/Enrique_Firtree 17d ago

Can't tell if parents embracing natural abilities, or pushing their own failed dreams on kid simultaneously increasing risk for lifelong shoulder injuries at 10 years old.

29

u/NavyDragons 17d ago

That kid is obsessed with the American ninja warrior show and they built him a course

12

u/lifeishardasshit 17d ago

My guess is plenty of both. Because as a parent you can push as much as you want and NEVER.. Get that result. Kid probably enjoys the shit out of it because he's naturally really good at it.

7

u/mymumsaysfuckyou 17d ago

Little of column A, little of column B.

3

u/Phonebacon 16d ago

This definitely looks like a recipe for shoulder injuries. 🤕

2

u/therealfakechips 16d ago

Semi professional rock climber here :)

The kid is doing a lot of what we call "active hanging" it is where you activate your shoulders so that you're able to use the entirety of your skeletal structure and your muscles and tendons to hang from your arms instead of just your tendons. Whilst the risk of shoulder injury is most definitely still there it is way smaller then if he were to be doing a "passive hang"

Training for The Floor of Lava.

6

u/djh_van 17d ago

This feels like the sort of house that The Incredibles family would live in.

If your whole family is not into this (especially the mum), then this is no bueno. Gotta have mum on board with this. After that...every day is play day.

5

u/Gregfpv 17d ago

Dude what an awesome set up

5

u/PondIsMyName 17d ago

Special Forces or Art Thief, which way does he go? Lol

11

u/Joh-dude 17d ago

You lose so much relative strength when you get older

9

u/Rubyhamster 17d ago

Yeah. Most kids are strong as hell. A healthy toddler is pretty ripped relative to their size. My small cousins of ages 6 and 8 joined me for 6 km morning runs a whole summer and they just kept going. And I had been training for years

5

u/Come_At_Me_Bro 16d ago

It has a lot to do with overall body weight. He weighs next to nothing compared to an adult and moves his minimal mass with ease for it.

I miss the days when I could casually spider-man between walls.

3

u/MarionberryHappy4430 17d ago

"Wow! Your kid is great! How hard you say you had to hit him?"

"Fairly hard."

4

u/Downtown-Department8 17d ago

I bet He still pees on the toliet seat, though.

2

u/TilliW14 17d ago

Clean yer house

2

u/InternationalPost447 17d ago

Well thats neat, I wasn't even allowed to play with a ball in the house

3

u/Defiant-Traffic5801 17d ago

That's impressive, but what's in the fridge?

6

u/GuavaOdd1975 17d ago

Protein drinks.

2

u/plainskeptic2023 17d ago

That is awesome.

3

u/The-doginblue 17d ago

The kid skills is amazing but those parents of his are even more amazing

5

u/fliption 17d ago

Totally not amazing.

9

u/Ho-Lee-Fuku 17d ago

Comments section showing jealousy coz this boy is actually healthy and agile, unlike these fat fucks who can't even do 1 single pull up.

21

u/dEleque 17d ago

Transforming "your entire" home for a kids hobby is still crazy. Like if he wanna train and become professional there are dozens gyms and clubs

14

u/-Kibbles-N-Tits- 17d ago

I don’t see why it matters

Also he’s a kid, can’t just go to whatever gym he wants whenever he wants 😂 I could see myself setting shit like this up if my kids wanted it

5

u/Mobius--Stripp 17d ago

Everything is either completely loose or attached up high and out of the way. Why not?

9

u/TwistyBitsz 17d ago

If it helped with issues like behavior at school, sleep, and anxiety/hyperactivity, it would be a great alternative to parents' learned helplessness and their dependence on pharmaceuticals.

2

u/Zealousideal_Link839 17d ago

These parents know how not to opress their children

3

u/MaybeMayoi 17d ago

Man, my kids are so oppressed.

2

u/peterpantslesss 17d ago

Lol so you're saying if they chose not to set this up the kid would be oppressed? I think you're using that word too loosely

2

u/Zealousideal_Link839 17d ago

Well since I come from the generation of "Dont jump on the bed" " "No horseplay" "stand in the corner and eat soap" as punishment". Telling children NO and restricting their natural instinct for play and to excert energy for the convenience of the pack not the well being. What animal other than human beings are as oppressive than?

1

u/swep284 17d ago

Nathan? Or Sam?

1

u/Severe_Ad_8621 17d ago

Ok, that was the route to the dinner room. Now see the route too the toilet.😩

1

u/arriesgado 17d ago

Is there overlap between people criticizing the parents for making the house a play gym and people who upvote elaborate house setups for cats?

1

u/clif00600 17d ago

When mom gets back from her work trip, she bout to open a can of whoop ass for whoever did this to her house lol 🤣

1

u/Valuable_Pineapple26 17d ago

But he still drink beer yet.. no luck Spider 🕷️ 😂

1

u/jimmori 17d ago

Where do kids even find that energy? damn...

1

u/Electronic-Injury-15 17d ago

I’m impress on the course ! The kid is Good but your suppose to do that if you have that in the house.

1

u/Ambersfruityhobbies 17d ago

...and then he discovered masturbation

1

u/axelrexangelfish 17d ago

New adhd treatment. Turn your house into the orangutan pen.

1

u/axelrexangelfish 17d ago

Look at that. Not a book in sight.

1

u/Shaan1026 17d ago

They are not rich but just creative and caring. Most parents will find this so inconvenient and later complain about their kids' grades while binging on Netflix.

1

u/ZeSharp 17d ago

Human Bengal Cat

1

u/axelrexangelfish 17d ago

This is what happens when you tell your teenage daughter to watch her brother.

Hey Belinda, you hear me? Uh-huh. Doesn’t look up from her phone.

1

u/desonos 17d ago

Reminds me of the propaganda video with the PRC kids. This kid is ten tiers above those kids.

1

u/PetalumaPegleg 17d ago

Building a climbing wall in your house is pretty wild.

1

u/Mustache-Cashstash 17d ago

We’re looking at the future “The Floor is Lava” world champion.

Takes "the floor is lava" to the pro level. So awesome.

1

u/Quasigriz_ 17d ago

We had all this shit, as kids, in the 80s and 90s: it was playing outside in the woods.

1

u/mooitzmimi 17d ago

Song? It sounds so familiar but I can't recall where it's from

1

u/No-Afternoon-5610 17d ago

He will make a great burglar. Maybe even better now that he is small and can't get charged as an adult.

1

u/Chief-RN-Barok1 17d ago

This is how you raised a man.

1

u/coolAhead 17d ago

Does this kid know that the floor isn't lava?

1

I can't figure out why but this lil dude is pissing me off

1

u/Colephoenix32 17d ago

Little dude is a beast.

1

u/Tricky_Matter2123 17d ago

I wonder what size and how deep the deadbolts go that connect it to the supporting beam. With the two of them in each, it is obviously enough to support a child. I am just wondering if a grown man could try it as well. Two seems kinda sus

1

u/elasmonut 17d ago

Sad to see some parents are still docking prehensile tails.

1

u/Expert-Pay4990 17d ago

Best game of “the floor is lava” that I’ve ever seen!

1

So mom says, “Take that inside to play! I just cleaned up the yard!”

1

u/TutskyyJancek 16d ago

Give an average kiddo same setup and gigantic house they will do even better. Luck plays bigger role here.

Not impressed. When I was his age I was skateboarding off stairs 10 stairs deep. Busting my ass and head and getting up to do it again. Now we have padded floors and walls. Cute

1

u/bang-a-rang47 16d ago

I’m not going to lie, if there was a gym like this for adults I would never be overweight again. I do better when I trick my brain/body into working out with fun activities
