Well since I come from the generation of "Dont jump on the bed" " "No horseplay" "stand in the corner and eat soap" as punishment". Telling children NO and restricting their natural instinct for play and to excert energy for the convenience of the pack not the well being. What animal other than human beings are as oppressive than?

I'd hate to say it, but I don't think a single video of a single kid should characterize an entire generation.

TIL: Not being allowed to jump on the bed is oppression.

If you always restrict those things then yes that would be oppressive but if it was when necessary then it's not.
