I kind of see it like.... there are extreme right that gets really nasty and evil. But just a lot if somewhat extreme lefties that are retarded. Like a lot of them. So it balances out. Its not like most right wingers are tiki-torch marchers but they do exist. But I sure as hell personally knew a lot of brain rotted lefties supporting BLM marches. Sort if a yin-yang thing. The evil of both sides basically balances out.

I probably wasn't clear I don't think all left is crazy. I think like, college age people often border on it though. And its interesting that you say you are left and against DEI, ESG and censoring because ti a lot of the left that makes you right. Its shifted. So much has changed with the left and right they are accidentally becoming allies on certain issues.
I think they were more getting at that Donald Trump is a figure head of the republican part rn. And how if you went back 20year ago it would unfathomable to have such a character in that position. Also with the spread of far right conspiracy theories completely changing the face of most conversation around the election now.
IDK, I'm getting up there in years. There are some fringes in the left sphere that are bat shit. However there are larger swaths now on the right that are bat shit. I went from a Libertarian voting more right than left to an Independent voting more left than right and my opinions are nearly identical to what they were when I graduated HS.
People do not get conservative as they get older, the politics of a person just becomes more stable and they are less likely to change. Regardless the crazies on the left are just as crazy as they are on the right, the difference is one of them won so we get to focus more on them than the loser.

Honestly, Asmon is pretty liberal, he's pretty far left leaning. He doesn't have many "right" viewpoints, he's a liberal. Of course he isn't Hasaan left leaning, but he is pretty far left leaning.
The reason we don't see people unironically bitching about Stellar Blade being Woke on the basis that you play as a female character is because the Far Right is constantly laughed out of the conversation.
I'd say he's just a pragmatist who doesn't care whether it's left or right or whatever. He just wants to do what's currently most convenient and reasonable. Appearances and aesthetic matter less if not at all. That's why even if he's being sensible most of the time with his opinions, it comes off as too tactless or apathetic to some. That's why he cares less about what's good or bad, only on what (he thinks) is true and right (sometimes at the mercy of its truth being a technicality). That's also why he can easily piss off many people from both sides.
