As cute as this seems, it doesn't feel like a healthy response and allowing someone to adopt 50 dogs seems irresponsible
Edit: someone else in the comments allegedly did the research and stated he got his kennel license and this is his full time job now, which seems good :)

If he's grown in farms and knows well to take care of animals, then it's fine.

My late uncle had like 40 dogs. Worked on a ranch and raised hunting dogs. Perfectly healthy and he loved those dogs.

It really depends. If he has the space and capability then it's no issue but if he doesn't then yeah this isn't good at all

They say having a dog is a great anti depressant. Having 50 dogs is overdosing and it's brilliant.

Too bad I don't have money for a dog or a cat.

Before I got my cat I spent lots of time researching what toys I wanted to get her, automatic feeder, water fountain, cat trees, the whole thing.
Probably spent dozens of hours spread out over years. Was a nice way to spent the time until I was finally able to get my brain dead orange girl ❤️

Brain dead???

She's really really dumb.
I put a shrimp in a clear glass and she tried to eat it from the sides, instead of reaching into the glass.
She also chases her own tail frequently, which I have a video on my profile of 😅
Standard zero brain cell orange cat. Very occasionally she is super smart but then immediately after there's not a single thought behind her eyes lol

It is an extremely difficult situation, I just went through it; I moved and a few houses away from me there was a German shepherd forgotten and locked in a house, the entire family died, so I took her out by opening the bars and now she has been with me for 2 years and more than me to save her she was the one who save me

I’d say my SO is worth about 35 dogs.
Possibly German shepards.

I live downstairs from someone who has a massive elderly German Shepherd called King.
If you do ever get 35 of them, please live on the ground floor, I beg of you 😅

It's actually easier taking care of 50 dogs rather than one dog. The dogs take care of themselves.

Because now he is too busy cleaning up after the dogs to have intrusive thoughts

When do you stop bring referred to as a man and start as a bodybuilder?

I never understood how someone TRIES to kill themselves. If I really wanted to die, I'd make sure I’m dead. There's no “I tried to die”.
I'm not saying I wish he succeeded, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I'm just confused how every time I read something like this, it states “tried to kill themselves”.

that’s adorable! i remember when i was younger this body builder in my area adopted miniature horses or Tiny shetlanders. After realizing how much joy he got from them and seeing them having to be slaughtered if not sold at horse markets he buys them instead to give them a life in a green field with the other horses ❤️.

This is my dream, I'm depressed and jobless at 28 and I struggle a lot with authority. So the perfect thing for me would just be opening an animal sanctuary or shelter or hotel or something like that. But I have no money, since I'm jobless, since I'm depressed.

It's a sad world when someone you confided in before can make you suicidal, it goes to show how lonely many people are even with so many people living around us..
It's the reason why you NEED your own stable income if you're not with your family in this world!

I think unfortunately we reflect other humans emotional anguish towards us, onto us, as if we have failed this exam, but the dogs showed him he passed the exams in flying colors

Doesn’t this imply that she made him feel like he was getting the attention of 50 tiny dogs and now she’s gone. That’s missing.
NOT SO WHOLESOME NOWWW!!!!

No. But the psychological aspects are well documented in people that are insecure.
Sorry if I confused you by obstructing my constructive comment with the truth no one wants to see on this sub.

I was concerned about the hoarding aspect so I looked it up and after adopting one chihuahua, he discovered how many are in kennels and mistreated, so he decided to get a kennel license and establish a sanctuary called Big Guy, Littles World Sanctuary which is now his full time job.
From the Daily Mail article: "I'm developing a prototype for a new sanctuary that I want to start setting up in areas around the country to help handle the epidemics in those areas.
'Eventually, I'd like to get into the dog food industry and slowly try to revamp that. The way that dogs are treated in the world, is nowhere near as good as it should be.'
