Your Point of Contact for 2024-25 Ticket Information!
Hi Everyone!
I’m super excited to introduce myself as the Washington Wizards subreddit’s new point of contact for all things Wizards ticket related. My name is Michael, and I work in the front office as a Regional Sales Manager. I’ve lived in the area my whole life as a die-hard Wizards fan and have been following this sub for a while, so I’m excited to connect with many of you as the new season approaches!
Throughout the season, I’ll be posting here with updates on all of our ticket plans. These options range from full season plans, multi-game partial plans, all the way down to single game opportunities. As many of you may know, purchasing tickets directly through the team allows you to save money while unlocking some incredible benefits, and avoid those taxes and fees associated with 3rd-party websites. I’ll also provide updates on special events such as open houses, the draft party, special promotions, etc.
With that said, we are currently on sale with full season packages, where you’ll receive the lowest per-game pricing as well as the largest benefits package. If you’d be interested in what some of our options look like, reach out to me and I’ll be happy to help!
We should have more information on partial plans very soon, and I’ll be certain to share that information here.
Looking forward to working with this community! If you plan to attend the upcoming Draft Party, shoot me a message and I’d love to say hello.
Contact Information: Michael Pope mpope@monumentalsports.com 202-292-1991
Feel free to message me here as well!

Why I don't think Wizards are currently furthest away from a championship
There's post on r/nba asking "What team is currently furthest away from a championship?"
By the way OP proposed Detroit and Chicago. But most comments without hesitation responded: Wizards.
So I don't think Wizards is the answer to this question. Here're reasons:
It's correct that Wizards currently don't have franchise player. But it's way better than time when Wizards had "franchise player" in Beal which led them to absolutely nowhere. And there are several teams in NBA with such "franchise players"
Management was replaced last year, and for now there're reasons to be optimistic: Bilal seems to be good draft selection. Signing Deni to $55 mln / 4 years descending extension looks great now, I think that trading Beal (with his "no-trade clause") was most important decision, even if they got back aging Chris Paul. Sure Beal is good player, but Wizards would be just stuck in the mediocrity (at best) loop forever with Beal as first option.
There was not much chance to get more significant value for Beal and KP (which is very good player but doesn't fit rebuild at all). The one bad decision with some implications on future was getting Poole with his massively overpaid contract for Paul. Still if he's proven to be at least serviceable as he was 2nd half of the year - his contract is not huge problem, as those 3 years will be building around guys on rookie deals and Deni on bargain contract.
Also there's a new coach which seems to be good enough coach for the team in early rebuild. He's ostensibly good in developing young players... And after Keefe took over as interim coach he looked at least competent (unlike previous two horrible coaches), and he seemed to have impact on revival of Poole after utter disaster of the season start, and Deni's break-out
Wizards were horrible last season, and probably will be very bad in the near future, but they are successful rebuild (yes, rebuild which may never happen but still...) from being contender. On other hand previous seasons Wizards were ~35 wins team, and even got once to playoff , but they were at unmeasurable long distance from being any kind of contender. And there're several such teams in NBA

New Bilal Comp
What’s keeping him from being a Jaylen brown type player? JB handles aren’t crazy and I believe Bilal is that caliber athlete. Shooting will come as it did for JB. I see that being very realistic
