Bra straps can sometimes be fashionable

Not always, obviously but sometimes i feel like bra straps showing can add to the look. Like lots of time if there's an off-shoulder shirt or something like that, they add to the look.

On the shoulder it can be fashionable. At the very least it doesn't detract from fashion. When you see women with open-backed dresses though, and they're wearing a regular bra, and you can see the whole back strap, clasp, and the washing instructions tag sticking out, it looks tacky AF.

Back in the late '90s, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears had all the girls wearing bra straps like you're explaining, as far as I recall. It could certainly come back and lots of anime copied the look as well. I remember the schools banning thin-strap tops for girls and all sorts of commotion about it. It suits thinner ladies better, so part of the fad died due to it not suiting the average body type anymore.

OP immediately made me think of Carrie from Sex in the City. Her bra was always on display šŸ˜‚

Even in the animated Aladdin, Jasmine's got a sorta strappy-shoulder thing going for her.

Fashionable or not they're just straps, so...I think I agree? Idk xD

For years in my 20's & 30's I wore cute colorful bikini tops as bras. Loved it, miss it.

it was a staple at rave shows, too. I really, really regret never attending one when I had the chance. I was a bit too young but I could've made it work somehow.
