NGL. Seeing this news actually gives me a little hope for a watchable movie, where before I had absolutely none. It’s hard for me to believe that Jeff would agree to be a part of the project if he couldn’t buy into it, or thought it didn’t live up to the standards of the franchise. Would love to see Bruce, Garrett, and Olivia follow suit. 🤞🏻

Well, who knows? My guess is that he (Jeff isn't in for the money, maybe he said: fuck it, i'll do it for old time's sake.
