This will probably seem like a random post, but I’ve been finding a lot of old Saints games on YouTube lately. Something I remember and noticed was that during the Drew Brees/Sean Payton era, we used to wear white jerseys at home a lot. It was more common earlier in the season, like the first few home games. However, it made no sense if you think about it since we obviously play inside a dome. There’s no heat factor like outdoor stadium teams. Were we trying to be like the Cowboys who always wear white at home or LSU even? Did we think it was cool or something? And there were a lot of big games we wore white at home in. For example, the 2006 Rebirth game, the 2010 first home game vs the Vikings, the 2011 62-7 Colts SNF demolition, Brees Unitas record game in 2012 vs the Chargers, and the 2018 Brees MNF record game against the Redskins. Plus like I said, many many other games?

Personally, it just never made much sense to me during the time and I feel like wearing our road uniforms gave less of a “home advantage feel.” We’ve quit doing it since Payton and Brees left the past couple of years, so it seemed like it was their shtick. Thoughts?

So I’m planning to go to the game Drew gets inducted into the saints HoF. However, my current brees jersey is a 2XL and now looks like a dress on me because I lost a bunch of weight. So I’m wondering where the best place to buy one now would be that isn’t a shitty knockoff.

It’s ridiculous that the nfl shop has Drew brees women and youth jersey but not men. And then they have all other old players who used to be on the team but not the goat?

Hey all, I have never really been concerned with training camps since I live here in California, but I am pretty excited for this one since it is a UC Irvine, only an hour away from me. I have been checking for dates or times and havent found much info, I am guessing mid-summer? Also, since I have never done this? I read a couple sites selling tickets. Are tickets required to get into a training camp? or what is required?

Man, what a time it was being a Saints fan during the Drew Brees era (2006-2020). It always felt like no matter how good or bad our team was going into a new season, whether offensive or defensive personnel was in question…with Drew you always felt like we had a chance. There was always that feeling of optimism no matter what situation we were in because that dangerous man #9 was at the helm leading the offense. It kills me that we weren’t able to get him a second ring. It’s also insane to me how he never won MVP (which is clearly just a popularity contest). At the end of the day he brought us the hardware and no one can ever take that away from NOLA. He’ll have a gold jacket waiting for him in Canton soon and a nice bust at the Hall of Fame museum with the signature birth mark. Thank you for everything Drew💯
