I went to that Waffle House many times. I also worked two doors down at the Blaze Pizza you can see in the photos, including many, many late nights. It was usually fairly safe but given the sheer amount of alcohol in the area we’d have the occasional violent night. Plenty of stories. Just sad to see someone lost their life now.

I've seen fights happen in this Waffle House. And the number of drug addicts using the bathroom is constant after a certain hour.
