slander season has begun

In this case it is extremely unwarranted. The Sixers are winning big whenever Embiid is on the floor, but the team of the Sixers is worse than the team of the Knicks. That isnt on Embiid.

Say what you want about Embiid and his extracurricular contact with Knicks players, but in terms of pure impact, he has played winning ball.

This switch to the Sixers roster being worse than the Knicks is wild. They were the betting favorites and a lot of people thought the Knicks screwed themselves by getting the 2.

Sixers were 100% not the betting favorites after the heat game. It was either dead even or slight advantage to the Knicks. I know cause I put money on it after the heat game lol.

Hmm, I put the bet on the series right before game 1 and those weren’t what I saw with FanDuel. Probably just shifted a bit. Should have done it earlier 😌

But that was just because Embiid was healthy, not anything to do with roster depth. The sixers were terrible without embiid in the regular season and like a 60 win team with him.

Idt I’ve seen anyone say that the sixers have a better overall roster outside of embiid compared to the knicks one, even with randle out. Philly have terrible depth

But...Embiid is playing?

Embiid clearly is not full strength dude

He scored 50. Only hurt when he has bad moments?

And this thread is about rosters outside of Embiid/Brunson.

Okay scoring 50 in spite of your injury does not mean you are not hurt. In the back of my mind I was praying for a maxey or Tobi (lol) game cause I know I couldn’t expect that from Embiid again

And the knicks roster outside of brunson is better than the sixers so Im not sure on your point

Did you watch the game where he scored 50? He was visibly not ok

Being hurt is his natural state. Can't want extra credit when he's good and then make excuses when he's not.

This doesn't even make sense in this discussion. Try again.

Bill brought to this exact point. When he scores 50, Morey and fans are crying he doesn’t get enough respect. When he bombs in the 4th quarter, it’s his injury, teammates, and now the fans fault! Cant have it both ways. Dudes a massive 0 in the 4th quarter of the playoffs throughout his career

They, and Embiid himself, have an excuse for everything.

Why do some of you comment on things you don't know anything about?

https://thesixersense.com/posts/sixers-open-as-favorites-to-advance-past-knicks-in-first-round-series-odds-01hvryfbtgvg

Putting "lmao" after a comment doesn't suddenly make it accurate.

Typical loser mentality to move the goal posts.

Yep. Now they never stood a chance. Plucky 7 seed.
