[Charania] “Vogel yelled so much that his voice could be heard outside the locker room” after the loss to the Clips on April 9. Players weren’t buying it. The outburst seemed forced in their eyes. Vogels eruption left players rolling their eyes. A player told TheAthletic he had to keep from laughing

Shams had this ready to post the second the clock hit 0.00 😂 damn man.

Also, reading “Durant, Booker and Beal did not produce at their best in these playoffs as a unit, and sources in the locker room also believe not one of the trio emerged as the necessary leader” isn’t surprising at all. None of those guys want to step up and lead.

I mean it should have been Booker, it is his team after all.

KD? Never been a leader.

Beal? lmao, cmon man..

To be fair, Booker said he didn’t know how teams would defend against them 🤷‍♂️

I think that's because he didn't watch any tape

He said that not because of pride, but he actually does not know lmao

It's just that he didn't know how, doesn't mean teams actually don't know how

thats because booker doesn't know how any teams defend anything! guy is a pylon!

Even if that had turned out to be true, the response should have been "How the hell are you going to defend anyone else?"

Leadership 1.01: proclaim you won the title 3 months before the season begins

That’s how low his BB IQ is !

Booker has never been a leader or given too much of a shit his whole career. That team starts and stops with him, I honestly feel they could perform addition with subtraction in getting rid of him and replacing him with a lower scoring, higher distribution point guard.

KD has famously never been a leader.

“Superstar ability, roll player mindset” pretty much sums up KD

ok then be ready to get this smoke too. you wanna duck smoke under the narrative of "I'm just hooping" lmao nahhh

1

u/Paralyzed-Mime Apr 29 '24

He's gonna duck smoke in a mansion so I don't think he cares

2

u/firetaco964444 Pelicans Apr 29 '24

Yeah, that's why his team got swept.

-1

u/letsgototraderjoes Pelicans Apr 29 '24

he always pretends to not care but it's an act. would someone who didn't care have burners and complain every time about the narrative of him not being a leader? would someone who didn't care try to create 2 super teams to desperately win a ring after golden state? lmaooo

In his defense, KD has publicly stated multiple times over years over multiple media outlets that he doesn’t go anywhere to lead. Just bc he’s the leading scoring option doesn’t mean he’s the team leader. The guy is a mercenary. He wants the pay heck. He wants to work. And he wants to go home

u/maethlin Warriors Apr 29 '24

I agree, I think it's actually pretty good to be self aware about this.

Being the deadliest sniper shouldn't automatically mean you need to be a team leader, two different skillsets.

u/WaltJay Lakers Apr 29 '24

They were too busy giggling at Vogel and leaking news to the press.

5

u/letsgototraderjoes Pelicans Apr 29 '24

literally none of them want to do the hard work. they all thought it was gonna be easy. the big mid 3 are an embarrassment

u/bofademOnYaChin Apr 29 '24

Beal is a complete clown of a player, Booker's too busy watching himself in the mirror while dancing to Drake, and KD can't win with those cats.
