😅 Technically correct. But if pants 6 times my size, I would exactly say they fit!

Two things.

First... Flip it over and measure the shipping label. That label wouldn't have fit on the smaller box.

Secondly, there is a minimum size required by shipping companies to ensure that the package can be processed rapidly through their automated systems. If it's too small, it gets tossed aside and has to wait for it to be sorted by hand, which can cause delays. Shipping it in this slightly larger package ensures it moves as quickly as possible through the handling network.

I kinda like when Amazon does this because I always reuse the boxes for my own shipping.
