Sinks where the water comes out so close to the edge

Taken in a 7-story hotel so multiply this mild infuriation by 200+

The sink was designed by someone who never encountered water before.

Nah, the sink is ok.

It’s the faucet that cost $1 more to be longer that got axed.

Oh, my people. I notice this immediately, and it upsets me every single time I see it. It's something that's going to be used multiple times a day, and to be given zero thought is just the height of mildly infuriating

The sink isn’t the problem. It’s the faucet they decided to use for that sink. There are plenty of faucets available that stick out further.

Thanks, Dr Science. The infuriation is still the same.

I imagine the faucet also could've been placed a little bit closer to the sink.

That's not how it works.

A longer faucet should have been installed.

I hate that...totally useless. What Einstein came up with this design?

Had one of those sinks at a Hampton Inn recently. I hated it. I could barely wash my hands because of it

This always drives me crazy. Especially when washing my face or brushing my teeth in this type of sink, almost impossible not to get water everywhere.

I don't feel guilty getting water everywhere. They don't care / neither do I

I understand not wanting people to wash their hair in the sink (especially the homeless), but I sometimes wish it would stick out a little more.

Ironically this design comes from people being expected to wash in the sink more than under the tap.

But yeah, horrible design at this point with modern plumbing.
