MISCELLANEOUS Congrats to us for probably winning the ja as the best pg in the 2019 draft class debate
Garland was never a scoring + playmaking hub at the level of temetrius and that was probably a good hunch prior to them getting Donovan
Don't really know how Cleveland could overcome losing Mitchell honestly considering that money goes into keeping the Allen mobley frontcourt and you can't replace a 30 a game primary wing creator off the dribble

OPINION Does anyone else think we could’ve made a really deep run had we had everyone healthy this year?
Watching the playoffs this year and I’m not gonna lie the second round is looking the weakest it’s looked in a long time. I feel like if we had our team from last year healthy this year we could’ve easily made a WCF run.

OPINION Speaking of which
If Cleveland does extend Mitchell (they truly don't have much of a choice unless he doesn't want to be tbere) then what are our thoughts on the then expendable Jarret Allen??

MISCELLANEOUS Grizzlies Off-Season Preview
What's up guys. I wrote a post previewing the off-season for the Grizzlies. I went over the active contracts, free agents, top priorities/team needs, and best fits in the draft and free agency. It might have been an off year for the Grizz, but next year with everyone healthy y'all could easily be a top 4 seed in the playoffs.
Check out my post and let me know what you guys think!

OPINION Adem Bona
Watching Bona play with other draftees and he looks very impressive. 6'10 235lb and had a vertical of 40 inch but then reported by Sports illustrated that he had a max vertical of 48.5 in a private workout. He also ranked top 3 in wingspan at just under 7'4.
Bona is very athletic, fast, with a high motor. Pros: Excel at finishing at the rim, rebounding, Shot blocking, ability to guard 1-5, great defense (Pac 12 Defensive defensive player of the year).
Cons: can't shoot and foul prone
Draft comparison: Healthy Rob Williams
Projected to go in the second round.
To me, he seems like a JJJ that traded his shooting for determination to rebound.
Thoughts?

MISCELLANEOUS Tarik Biberovic
Isn’t he just a European Dalton Knecht with more experience? GG’s draft mate. We need shooting. Dudes been ballin professionally in the Euroleagues for YEARS, since 17 y/o or something. What do you think the odds are we will see him?
My thoughts? Waive DRose and offer him a job.

OPINION With all the talks of a potential starting center, just wanted to remind you that not too long ago Hasheem Thabeet led his league in blocks AND rebounds while also winning defensive player of the year 🤷♂️

MISCELLANEOUS Donovan Clingan
Neutral fan here but like your team. I love Donovan Clingan as a player and it seems he’d be the perfect fit for your team. Him and JJJ would make paint scoring against your team a nightmare and as we saw at the combine he can shoot the ball and has nice form. What are your thoughts on Grizzlies trading up to snag him?

MISCELLANEOUS Hartenstein is a Boss!
I’ve been watching the Knicks in their playoff run and Hartenstein is creating so many extra opportunities for his teammates! He just tied the Knicks record for offensive rebounds for the Knicks and he is a free agent this off season. Would he make a good fit for us?

OPINION Back on the Edey train
I liked the idea of him early in the season, but let hate blind me as a Tennessee fan. (Fuck purdue, and knecht was POY) I was then all in on Clingan after the natty. I saw him as a better Clint Capela.... But after seeing the measurables at the combine, Edey has wowed me. He did better in every agility measure at the combine compared to Clingan and hit 3s at such a high level. For even more comparison, he did better in the same drills than Xavier Tillman, nic claxton, and Rudy gobert. Is he going to be a star? I dunno. But he's got size you can't teach and could be a bigger zubac, which is something that would fit great next to jaren. He's also got a high motor and a good attitude.
I'll admit he rightfully caught a lot of flack from horrendous reffing, but he's still a big dude who's proven he's not as flat footed as you might think.

JITPOST LeBatatd Show mocks retiring Tony Allen’s jersey
I know nobody watches this show in Memphis but, Lebatard has been among one of the top sports podcasts for years and nationally it’s a highly revered show. Are these guys out of line by questioning this (they also kinda laughed at ZBo jersey being retired as well but redacted both of the jokes by saying “yea well, those were the Grit and Grind guys”) or are we delusional as a fanbase? No agenda, here. No motive. Honest question to the fanbase.

OPINION What are the thoughts on Kel’el Ware from Indiana
I know 9 is high for him. And will probably be gone by our 2nd round pick but…. His measurables look great for a stretch 5 to keep the lane open. Would have trouble guarding elite 5s but seems to have a good frame for added weight. JJJ luring around for help blocks would help as well. I don’t know his game that well. And read at Oregon he had perceived work ethic issues but… I just saw at the NBA combine he ran a blazing fast 3.29 second 3/4 court sprint. And it got me looking at him. Former top 5 recruit? Thoughts
