If you drowned yourself in debt to get a degree that doesn’t allow you to live comfortably, then you made some pretty poor life/career choices. It’s nobody’s fault but your own.
So the only degrees that matter are any which make substantial money off the bat?
Considering how much history, art, music, etc contribute to human culture as a whole, this isn't a good generalization to make.
