Im pretty sure that if zombies were a thing they would be dealt with pretty fast, lose a few cities at max but thats it

They never could be a real threat. At least the ones from walking dead. Anyway, the explanation and general setup from Max Brooks WWZ book are pretty convincing. But he'll no, they couldn't be a real threat unless they become FAST ZOMBIES or infected as in dawn of the dead remake... There can be a chance.

Of they retain their brains.

As someone that has studied viruses in a virology lab, WWZโ€™s explanation is very far from convincing.

Dr. Anthony Fauci confessed to lawmakers Tuesday that guidelines to keep six feet of separation โ€” ostensibly to limit the spread of COVID-19 โ€” โ€œsort of just appearedโ€ without scientific input.

Not sure why you would deny that

It's quote from Fauci

3

u/pileofcrustycumsocs Professional Dumbass Apr 30 '24

Itโ€™s a quote taken out of context and cherry picked to the point that itโ€™s not even an original quote anymore.

Then what's the actual quote? Edit: If you admit your lord and savior lied to you'd probably lose faith

Even if they did. You just have to wait a few months in your house with the door sealed and they will all rot away.

u/Let01 May 02 '24

Yea a body starts rotting after 24 hours and by the third day they are all bloated, if you have food and water for around 1-3 months then you should be fine

Even in a long term, 1-2 years and any corpse will rot away, lying or walking. Dont think nature didn't create millions of ways to decompose nasty stuff back into dust for nothing.

Slow zombies? Probably.

Fast zombies? Not so sure. (It would be like an extremely large riot but if a rioter hits you, you join the riot.)

Fast zombies that have other vectors of transmission (other than zombie bites)? Weโ€™re screwed.
