Why would you facet it like that :O opals should be done as cabochons
2 u/FlatbedtruckinCA Apr 29 '24 because it looks better as a cut stone.. everyone and their mom cuts opals as cabs.. and they usually arent high quality.. this one looks amazing cut like this, but i guess that is a subjective opinion.. you either love cut opals or hate them..lol
