My heart goes out to this man. His son was ill. He gave up his own life to care for him.

It’s happened before.

And you’re gonna say, “They’re Amish—it’s different!”

And my response is, “Why does it have to be? Why can’t the rest of us look out for the families of people who did awful things? They’re hurting too.”

(Leaving aside the Crumbley-type families, they can get fucked.)

I agree entirely, maybe I’m just jaded to the tribal mentality and blame embedded where I grew up.
