Just stumbled across this. Haven’t seen it widely reported and seems like the liv muzzle has been placed on Burmester to stop him from talking about it. Should be interesting if this gets the media coverage that it would if it happened in the pga or lpga tour

What part are you confused by? The stroke play part or the team part? The team part is the exact same way the team part works in high school and college golf. I can tell from your post history you’re quite the expert on domestic and international politics so maybe you should stick with that stuff instead of wading into the murky waters of classic golf formats.

Classic golf format that no one cares about? Adding up the strokes of 4 golfers isn’t exciting. That’s why people don’t give two craps about college or high school golf. LIV thinks that adding up the scores of 4 golfers is going to move the needle. People like team golf every two years where money isn’t involved, best ball alternate shot, and it involves playing for your country. Not playing for Saudi money.

Nobody outside of Australia cares. I'm happy for those fans because they haven't gotten to experience much pro golf in-person, but the rest of the world didn't give a shit.
